Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is useful for diagnosing many conditions. It is safe and noninvasive, and helps NYSI to uphold its mission of treating patients with comfort. The digital radiology department allows the radiologist to analyze images for bone and soft tissue anatomy. NYSI diagnostic imaging provides individualized care as well as state-of-the-art diagnostics.
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine was invented in 1977 and has since revolutionized medical practices everywhere. It is a useful, non-invasive, and safe way to help diagnose conditions. Our MRI machine in Yonkers will give our doctors the tools that they need to analyze your bones and soft tissue anatomy.
Our office in Yonkers has state of the art and technologically advanced diagnostic tools. In addition to our 1.5 MRI system, we also have a Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray.
Our high-field short bore 1.5 MRI system supports many clinical situations. We can do MRI scans of the spine, brain, abdomen, pelvis, shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, ankle, and even the foot!
New York Spine Institute’s brand-new GE 1.5 system will also provide our physicians with their best images yet. With this system, our doctors will be able to see high-quality and detailed pictures of your condition. That way, they can try to more accurately diagnose and eventually treat your back pain.
