Neck and back pain can have a wide variety of causes, which is why we recommend seeing one of our neck and back doctors as soon as you begin experiencing intense pain that interrupts your daily activities. Chronic pain caused by a spinal condition is often hard for non-medical professionals to recognize, and symptoms are often referred to simply as “neck or back pain”. Our physicians have decades of experience, giving them the ability to determine the exact cause of your pain. *
New York Spine Institute’s primary mission is to provide each and every patient with a completely personalized treatment plan. We aim to offer multiple treatment options for each client, working together to decide which best fits your individual needs and lifestyle. In any case, surgery is always our last option. If you can experience pain relief with a non-surgical treatment plan, that will always be the route we go. Though our neck and back doctors work tirelessly to provide treatment without surgery, in some cases it may be necessary. *

For our surgical patients, the process begins with a pre-operative consultation where a diagnosis and surgical plan are set in place. Your physician will take the time to explain what is going to happen, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. After the surgery is complete, you will once again meet with your surgeon to discuss a post-operative treatment plan.
One of the specialities of NYSI is scoliosis treatment. We have a team of scoliosis specialists, experienced in both pediatric and adult scoliosis treatment.
