IMAGING SERVICES FOR HARTSDALE PATIENTS
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a leading procedure which takes images of the inside of your body and can lead to disease detection or pinpointing the source of your neck or back pain. We take our patients care very seriously and continue to do so by offering imaging options such as an MRI as a safe and noninvasive way to further examine your unique condition. With a digital radiology department our radiologists can analyze your results and continue your care with an extensive evaluation.
New York Spine Institute offers leading diagnostic imaging: a high field short bore 1.5T MRI system and Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray for our Hartsdale patients in need of advanced imaging.
The high field short bore 1.5T MRI system assists a variety of clinical functions, some of which include MRI’s of the Spine, Brain, Abdomen, Pelvis, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Elbow, Wrist, Hand, Ankle and Foot.*
With New York Spine Institute’s brand new GE 1.5T system, our physicians can review high quality, precise photos of anatomy and pathology. With information gathered from these images, physicians can evaluate a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.
With revolutionary Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) patients can now receive better treatment with more accurate scans through this non-invasive, safe method. Using radio waves and magnets, the machine scans and produces images of your body which can help detect and diagnose certain diseases that other imaging methods, like; x-rays, ultrasounds, and CT (Computed Tomography) may not pick up on.*
We treat our Hartsdale patients with extreme care and comfort in mind. During your visit we will make the environment as calming as possible with access to music, earplugs, and a sleeping mask helping to create a feeling of relaxation.
With our innovative digital radiology department radiologists can analyze digitized images of bone and soft tissue anatomy for diagnosis. Our Long Length Imaging (LLI) is also provided for patients with scoliosis to receive a proper assessment.
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
