IMAGING SERVICES FOR HUNTINGTON PATIENTS
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine was invented in 1977 and has since revolutionized medicine. It is a useful, non-invasive, and safe way to help diagnose conditions. Our MRI machine will give our doctors the tools that they need to analyze your images for bone and soft tissue anatomy.
Our office in Deer Park has state of the art and technologically advanced diagnostic tools. In addition to our 1.5 MRI system, we also have a Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray.
Our high-field short bore 1.5 MRI system supports many clinical situations. We can do MRI scans of the spine, brain, abdomen, pelvis, shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, ankle, and even the foot!
Best yet: New York Spine Institute’s brand-new GE 1.5 system will provide our physicians with their best images yet. With this system, our doctors will be able to see high-quality and detailed pictures of your condition. With these pictures, they will be able to more accurately diagnose and eventually treat your neck pain.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging tool. It uses magnetism and radio waves to produce detailed images of the body. It is extremely safe, non-invasive, and helpful to physicians. Many times, an MRI scan will pick up the presence of a certain disease when other tools such as x-rays cannot.
We know that spine and neck treatment can be scary. But we care deeply about our patients and do not want them to be nervous in our office! As a result, we have made our office in Huntington as calming as possible. When you come here, you will have access to relaxing music, earplugs, and even sleeping masks.
Our office in Huntington is even outfitted with its digital radiology department. In this part of our practice, the images are digitized and radiologists can analyze bone and soft tissue. As part of this, we also offer Long Length Imaging (LLI) for proper scoliosis assessment.
