It has been confirmed repeatedly that Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is valuable for diagnosing an array of conditions. It is a safe, non-invasive tool that manipulates magnetism and radio waves to create detailed images. Our doctors then assess these images of various parts of the body for certain disorders. Some of these conditions may not have been noticeable when using other methods like x-ray, ultrasound, or CT (Computed Tomography). *
Our sole goal is to provide each of our patients with personalized care according to their level of pain and type of condition. We provide a soothing atmosphere that has music, earplugs, and a sleeping mask to help you feel relaxed so we can better assist you.
Our location also has a digital radiography department. The radiologist examines digitized images of bone and soft tissue anatomy to ascertain the proper diagnosis. To adequately diagnose scoliosis, we use Long Length Imaging (LLI).
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
