Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has been determined to be very helpful for diagnosing a comprehensive range of conditions. It is a secure, painless, non-invasive exam that employs magnetism and radio waves to produce precise images used to assess various parts of the body and determine the presence of certain diseases which may not be apparent with other imaging methods such as x-ray, ultrasound or CT (Computed Tomography). *
Our top priority is to provide every patient with individualized care and support. We implement a relaxing and calming environment by giving you a choice of music, earplugs and a sleeping mask to make you feel less stressed.
This facility also operates a digital radiography department. In this setting, the captured images are digitized so the radiologist can examine bone and some soft tissue anatomy for an accurate diagnosis. We also provide Long Length Imaging (LLI) for adequate scoliosis assessment.
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
