IMAGING SERVICES FOR LONG BEACH PATIENTS
The spine doctors at NYSI in Long Beach, NY, use Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to support the diagnosis of various back conditions. It’s a non-invasive and sound procedure that confirms our diagnosis. * The radiologists in our digital radiology department apply this technology to capture and study the images of bone and soft tissue anatomy. NYSI advanced diagnostic imaging gives our professionals the opportunity to explicitly assign a suitable type of personalized treatment to our patients.
New York Spine Institute uses technologically superior diagnostic imaging: a high field short bore 1.5T MRI system and Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray for our patients in Long Beach, NY.
The high field short bore 1.5T MRI system can be used in a variety of clinical applications including but not only for MRI’s of the Spine, Brain, Abdomen, Pelvis, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Elbow, Wrist, Hand, Ankle, and Foot. *
New York Spine Institute’s modern GE 1.5T system gives our doctors visible, highly detailed images of anatomy and pathology to verify their evaluation of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has confirmed that it is a notably safe and convenient tool allowing doctors to diagnose various spine conditions. It applies magnetism and radio waves to produce well-defined images. Our spine doctors then assess these images for specific diseases or other issues. MRIs prove useful when other kinds of tools, like x-ray, ultrasound, or CT (Computed Tomography), do not have as much success.*
It is our objective to provide dependable back pain treatment along with helping our patient to relax and feel comfortable. Throughout your appointment, we provide you with the option of music, earplugs, and a sleeping mask to enhance your level of comfort.
Our radiologists in our digital radiography department use advanced digitized photos of bone and soft tissue anatomy to aid in determining an accurate diagnosis. For example, a scoliosis diagnosis is found with the use of Long Length Imaging (LLI).
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
