IMAGING SERVICES FOR NEW WINDSOR PATIENTS
The process of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) can be very useful when diagnosing many conditions, as it helps NYSI a a safe and noninvasive method for treating patients with comfort. In order to analyze images for bone and soft tissue anatomy, the radiologist is given these by a digital radiology department.Individualized care, along with state-of-the-art diagnostics, are some of the services provided by NYSI’s diagnostic imaging. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning is a useful, non-invasive, and safe way to help diagnose conditions. Our digital radiology department has the tools needed to analyze your images for bone and soft tissue anatomy.
Our office in New Windsor has a state of the art diagnostic tools. In addition to our 1.5 MRI system, we also have a Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray. Our high-field short bore 1.5 MRI system supports many clinical situations. We can do MRI’s of the spine, brain, abdomen, pelvis, shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, ankle, and even the foot! Best yet: New York Spine Institute’s brand-new GE 1.5 system will provide our physicians with their best images yet. With this system, our doctors will be able to see high-quality and detailed pictures of your condition. With that, comes a greater ability to diagnose and eventually treat your neck pain.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging tool that uses magnetism and radio waves to produce detailed images of the body. It is extremely safe, non-invasive, and helpful to physicians. Many times, an MRI scan will pick up the presence of a certain disease when other tools such as x-rays cannot. We care deeply about our patients and we want you to feel right at home when you come to us. That is why we made our office for our New Windsor patients as calming as possible. We’ve outfitted it with relaxing music, earplugs, and even sleeping masks. Our office in New Windsor also has its own digital radiology department. In digital radiology, the captured images are digitized. This process allows the radiologist to analyze bone and soft tissue. As part of this, we also offer Long Length Imaging (LLI) for proper scoliosis assessment.
