Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a very useful tool for diagnosing a broad range of conditions. It is a secure, painless, non-invasive exam that uses magnetism and radio waves to create precise images used to assess various parts of the body and determine the presence of certain diseases which may not be apparent with other imaging methods such as x-ray, ultrasound or CT (Computed Tomography). *
Our top priority is to implement a relaxing and calming atmosphere by giving you a choice of music, earplugs and a sleeping mask to make you feel right at home.
This facility also operates a digital radiography department. In this setting, the captured images are digitized so the radiologist can examine bone and some soft tissue anatomy for an accurate diagnosis. We also provide Long Length Imaging (LLI) for adequate scoliosis assessment.
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
